Dr. Dunning is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration for Troy University and the Regional Chair of the Master of Public Administration Program for the Atlantic Region. He is sponsoring this site to advance the use of computer and Web based simulations to teach public administration courses. His research interests are in the areas of instructional systems design and high performance organizations. Dr. Dunning began teaching full time at Troy in 1999, prior to this he was human resource and organizational development consultant, a director of human resources for two corporations, and a career Air Force officer. He has a PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence University. He is a graduate of the Air War College and the Air Command and Staff College. He is active in several sections of the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA) and is the Past President of the Hampton Roads Chapter of ASPA.
